Role Overview

The position of General Accountant is a full-time, on-premises role based in Riyadh. Duties encompass managing daily accounting tasks such as recording journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and performing bank and account reconciliations. The accountant is also responsible for preparing financial statements, assisting with monthly and annual closing activities, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and relevant accounting standards. Additional responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing cash flow activities, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and providing audit support through precise documentation. The role entails close collaboration with finance and operations departments to deliver timely financial insights that support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Proficient in core accounting functions including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
• Experience handling accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and tracking expenses.
• Skilled in generating financial reports and supporting month-end and year-end closing, along with budgeting and forecasting assistance.
• Knowledgeable about compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit procedures.
• Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, and strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills suited to fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certifications like CPA or CMA are advantageous.
• Relevant experience in corporate or holding company finance; exposure to the food and beverage industry is beneficial.
• Must be able to work on-site in Riyadh.
