Position Summary
SASSO is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join its Creative team and contribute to smart, strategic, visually engaging work across client and agency assignments. This position is involved in the full creative lifecycle, from idea generation and concepting through design execution, production, collaboration, and presentations to clients.
The designer will create across print, digital, social, web, advertising, presentation, campaign, and integrated brand touchpoints. Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, a polished visual style, speed, and the ability to adapt designs for different brands, industries, audiences, and channels.
The role works closely with Creative, Account, Strategy, Social, Digital, Media, and Production teams to deliver solutions that are aligned with brand standards, project briefs, deadlines, and client objectives. A growth-oriented mindset is important, along with curiosity about the future of design and the thoughtful use of emerging AI tools and modern creative workflows that can improve concepting, experimentation, efficiency, and problem-solving while preserving originality, quality, judgment, and brand integrity.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in an agency, creative studio, or brand-focused environment. A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Advertising, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
A strong portfolio is expected, showing design quality, brand thinking, campaign work, and creative execution across multiple channels. Experience should include work for print, social, digital, web, advertising, interactive, mobile, presentation, and campaign assets. The designer should be able to follow brand standards while tailoring the look and feel for different clients, industries, audiences, and project needs. Experience in illustration, drawing, motion, video, or photography is a plus.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of typography, layout, hierarchy, composition, color, imagery, and visual systems is required. The candidate should be comfortable working in a Mac environment and proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related tools.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and presentation-building tools is expected. The role also calls for practical knowledge of digital, social, print, advertising, web, and production design standards, along with the ability to build clean, organized, production-ready files for vendors, printers, digital delivery, and internal use.
Experience with AI-enabled creative tools, design automation software, image generation and editing platforms, and other emerging creative applications is valued, or the willingness to learn them quickly. Strong proofing, file management, version tracking, and quality-control habits are essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create original visual work for brand, campaign, print, digital, social, web, advertising, presentation, and multimedia projects.
- Turn briefs, client goals, brand guidelines, and audience insights into strong and effective design solutions.
- Produce branding assets, page layouts, illustrations, infographics, advertisements, social graphics, digital deliverables, print collateral, and campaign materials.
- Adjust visual style and execution to suit different industries, audiences, brand personalities, and communication goals.
- Preserve consistency across client marketing, advertising, and communication pieces.
- Review, revise, and refine design work to ensure accuracy, clarity, polish, and alignment with requirements.
- Proof all materials carefully for spelling, grammar, formatting, layout, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Participate in brainstorming, idea development, and creative exploration for client and agency work.
- Research client industries, products, services, audiences, competitors, brand systems, and marketing objectives.
- Offer strategic input and creative recommendations that improve the structure, style, medium, and effectiveness of deliverables.
- Collaborate with Creative, Account, Strategy, Social, Digital, Media, and Production teams to meet scope, brand, and timeline expectations.
- Manage assigned projects independently from concept through completion while communicating progress, needs, risks, and schedules clearly.
- Take part in internal critiques, feedback meetings, project discussions, and client presentations when needed.
- Coordinate with printers, production vendors, photographers, videographers, and other partners to support accurate and high-quality output.
- Prepare files for print, digital, social, web, advertising, presentation, and production use according to specifications.
- Support production tasks such as print setup, vendor communication, press checks, photo shoots, video shoots, and asset handoff.
- Keep final files organized, accurate, properly formatted, and ready for deployment or production.
- Assist with presentation design, visual storytelling, and pitch or meeting support materials.
- Use AI tools carefully and responsibly to support brainstorming, visual exploration, content adaptation, design variations, research, and workflow efficiency.
- Incorporate new AI tools and modern creative processes into design software, production systems, and daily workflow where appropriate.
- Stay up to date on emerging creative technologies, AI-enabled platforms, production tools, and software improvements that may enhance creative quality and speed.
- Show curiosity, experimentation, and a willingness to evolve creative methods and workflows.
