Role Overview

We are looking to hire a seasoned Purchase Head to spearhead the procurement operations for our real estate projects based in Greater Noida West. This key leadership position entails formulating and executing procurement strategies, managing vendor networks, optimising costs, ensuring materials and services are delivered on time with adherence to quality and compliance norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Devise and implement procurement strategies that align with project deadlines and business goals.
• Oversee the complete procurement cycle for construction materials, MEP components, finishing items, equipment, and project-related services.
• Identify, assess, onboard, and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing structures, commercial agreements, contracts, and payment terms to realise cost savings.
• Ensure timely procurement and consistent supply to project sites without interruptions.
• Evaluate vendor performance and maintain an up-to-date and reliable supplier database.
• Stay abreast of market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks to enhance procurement decisions.
• Collaborate closely with project, engineering, planning, finance, and inventory teams to drive smooth project execution.
• Maintain compliance with company procurement policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
• Prepare procurement plans, budgets, reports, management information systems, and analyses focusing on cost reduction.

Candidate Profile

• Graduation in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or related disciplines; MBA or PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations preferred.
• 12 to 18 years of procurement experience within real estate, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
• At least 5 years in leadership roles managing procurement teams.
• Strong expertise in construction materials sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiations, inventory and procurement process planning.
• Hands-on experience sourcing civil, MEP, finishing, and interior materials for sizeable projects.
• Excellent skills in commercial negotiation, analytical thinking, leadership, and communication.
• Proficiency in ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Office suite.
