Role Overview
Junction 14 Mayfield is hiring a Supervisor for its busy Insomnia department in Monasterevin, County Kildare. This position is responsible for hands-on day-to-day leadership, making sure team members follow the standards needed to keep the department operating smoothly and delivering a consistently high level of quality and service.
The supervisor must know the Barista role in detail, including dress code, hygiene and HACCP requirements, customer service expectations, performance standards, health and safety practices, and roster awareness. Strong communication with colleagues, other supervisors, and managers is a key part of the job.
Key Duties
- Provide daily front-line supervision and support to the team.
- Ensure all colleagues comply with required operating and service standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer experience, quality, and consistency.
- Oversee cleanliness, presentation, and service standards throughout the department.
- Make sure staff are trained in product knowledge and store procedures.
- Track attendance, punctuality, productivity, and presentation on an ongoing basis.
- Work shifts during the busiest days and periods, including weekends.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by management when required.
Requirements
- Prior supervisor experience in a customer-focused environment is needed.
- Applicants should be enthusiastic, outgoing, and confident dealing with people.
- Previous coffee experience would be beneficial, though the right attitude and alignment with the Insomnia philosophy matter most.
