About the Role
We are a compact creative team responsible for designing graphics that enhance the Oxford Analytica Daily Brief's analytical content. Our themes are complex and subtle, and our visuals both support the detailed analyses and make insights comprehensible beyond text alone. Operating in a dynamic, newsroom-style setting, we aim to craft data-driven visuals that narrate stories, whether accompanying in-depth reports or leading analysis through infographics.
Our scope also includes creating visual content for the Global Risk Insights group, producing social media graphics, and editing videos to boost marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design charts and maps for the Oxford Analytica Daily Brief.
- Collaborate with the Analysis team to assist and develop weekly infographics.
- Support Advisory consultancy outputs by creating charts, maps, and diagrams.
- Design long-form reports and publications, managing all stages from concept to print and post-print.
- Produce supplementary materials for Oxford Analytica's events presence.
- Help conceptualize and design promotional assets highlighting the Daily Brief’s advantages.
- Create materials for regular conference calls and digital marketing campaigns.
- Support social media initiatives by crafting engaging graphics.
- Assist in basic video production to promote the Daily Brief team.
- Provide graphic and design assistance across the company as needed.
- Develop enhanced Briefing Books to support company involvement at external events.
- Contribute ideas for enhancing Oxford Analytica’s branding and design image.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient with graphic design software, especially Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Familiarity with video editing tools and social media platforms such as Canva and Adobe Express is advantageous.
- Strong interest in data visualization and infographics.
- Experience working within a B2B environment.
