Job Overview

We seek a driven Junior Planning Engineer to join our Project Planning team. This role is ideal for engineering graduates or entry-level professionals aiming to develop a career in project scheduling and planning within the construction and interior fit-out industries. The role entails supporting project scheduling tasks, tracking progress, preparing reports, and assisting senior planners in schedule maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Create and update project timelines using Primavera P6.
Track project advancement relative to approved schedules.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and other teams to gather updates.
Produce daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
Maintain project dashboards and planning trackers.
Assist in monitoring and controlling project activities.
Identify delays in schedules and report deviations.
Keep accurate records of planning documents.
Analyze data utilizing Microsoft Excel.
Ensure punctual reporting to supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
Fundamental understanding of project planning and scheduling principles.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory.
Competence with Microsoft Excel.
Basic knowledge of project monitoring and control methodologies.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Ability to operate efficiently in a dynamic construction environment.
Experience working within the UAE is advantageous but not required.
Fresh graduates with Primavera P6 expertise are encouraged to apply.
