Lead Residential Interior Designer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Residential Interior Designer to oversee all project stages, create customized designs, and deliver top-quality outcomes for luxury residences. This role involves managing the design process from initiation to completion, collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage the entire design lifecycle, coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project success.
• Create finish palettes, select furniture, fixtures & accessories (FF&A), and prepare detailed interior construction documents utilizing AutoCAD software.
• Maintain precision and artistic quality in both designs and documentation, including the preparation of presentation materials.
• Conduct site visits to construction locations and vendor showrooms, review shop drawings, and liaise with all relevant stakeholders.
• Present design concepts to clients, establish trust-based relationships, and effectively lead project teams.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 7 years of experience in interior design or architecture, with a minimum of 4 years specializing in luxury residential new construction.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design; NCIDQ certification is preferred.
• Strong aesthetic sense compatible with the company's style, proficiency in AutoCAD LT, Adobe InDesign, and familiarity with Photoshop and Studio Designer are advantageous.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, delegation, and time management capabilities.
• Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating a positive professional attitude.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Key Duties

Lead and develop design concepts, coordinate with clients and vendors, manage workflow efficiently, and mentor team members to deliver exceptional luxury residential interior projects.
