Machine Learning Engineer

Job Overview

The Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics is inviting applications for the role of Machine Learning Engineer to contribute to its prestigious AI Research & Development team. The role demands advanced skills in developing machine learning solutions applied to challenging problems with an emphasis on both theoretical and practical deep learning applications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science or a comparable discipline.
• At least one year of professional experience in designing and implementing machine learning algorithms.
• Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jax, or equivalents for a minimum of one year.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Ability to independently identify issues and resolve tasks either autonomously or collaboratively without recurrent supervision.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with MLOps practices, especially within cloud platforms.
• Industry background in delivering machine learning solutions.
