Role Overview

The Maintenance Associate is essential for upkeeping the properties managed by Silkhaus. This position requires carrying out diverse maintenance duties, addressing guest requests promptly, and working closely with property managers to ensure properties are safe, attractive, and functional.

• Undertake regular maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, HVAC servicing, painting, and carpentry.
• React promptly to maintenance requests and efficiently resolve issues following quality benchmarks.
• Perform routine inspections of properties and common areas to spot and correct potential problems.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and report completion to property management.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and company policies throughout maintenance operations.
• Prepare units for incoming residents by performing necessary repairs and touch-ups.
• Coordinate with contractors and external service providers as required.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and replenish stock timely.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain clear communication with residents and team members.
• Conduct comprehensive property maintenance inspections to uphold standards.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational education preferred.
• At least two years of practical experience in property maintenance, repairs, or related areas.
• Solid understanding of building systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Proficient in using tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and resident interaction.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team efforts.
• Willingness to be available for emergency repair calls when necessary.
• Must possess a valid UAE driving license and personal vehicle.
