Role overview

This position will support the Executive, Value Management in driving stronger commercial effectiveness across Singapore. The role focuses on improving profitable sales growth through sales operations, execution excellence, and pack price architecture work, with emphasis on price, assortment, trading terms, and promotion levers. It also helps embed the Value Management framework and related capabilities in the Singapore market.

Pack price architecture and value management

  • Own and drive annual as well as ad hoc pricing programmes, including planning for price increases, rollout execution, and review after implementation.
  • Track competitor and market price execution across channels to generate insights and recommendations on pricing, brand fit, and promotion optimisation.
  • Lead analysis of pack price architecture to find whitespace opportunities and improve pricing and pack-format choices for key channels.
  • Support portfolio rationalisation by working with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain on quarterly pain-tail analysis.
  • Run analytics and capability-building projects for Value Management, including BI and analytics tool implementation, together with IT, Regional, and Global Value Management teams to support fact-based decisions.
  • Work with the Head of Value Management & Sales Capability and regional/global teams to promote the Value Management framework, including training cross-functional teams on the required fundamentals, methods, processes, and tools.

Sales operations and processes

  • Support sales performance review forums by identifying business issues, proposing actions, and following up on outcomes and progress.
  • Review sales data and turn it into practical insights that improve efficiency and commercial results.

Sales execution excellence

  • Support the yearly review and improvement of sales execution scorecards and frameworks, including product availability, pricing, promotions, and marketing campaign execution.
  • Monitor execution KPIs and suggest enhancements that strengthen sales force effectiveness and execution standards.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate is collaborative, strong in stakeholder management, and comfortable influencing people at different levels. The person should be self-driven, able to work independently, and effective in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Strong analytical ability, project management capability, organisation, multitasking, creativity, and attention to detail are important. Familiarity with Nielsen Answers is an advantage, and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, and salesforce systems such as Distributor Management Systems and Salesforce.com is preferred. Experience using retail and POS data sources such as NielsenIQ is also preferred.

Requirements
