Role Overview

This opportunity is for an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead daily functions at our Timaru facility in New Zealand. You will manage and oversee warehouse operations, ensuring service excellence and reliability for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of up to 10 warehouse employees, ensuring tasks meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Monitor and enhance warehouse workflows to boost productivity and operational excellence.
• Identify and implement improvements to processes, focused on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Provide regular performance updates and reports to senior management.
• Maintain a positive, cooperative, and safety-conscious work environment.
• Support training and development initiatives for warehouse staff.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills in operational settings.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations applicable to logistics environments.
• Capable of fostering collaborative relationships and embracing continuous improvement.
