Role overview
The Planning Engineer III will work with the Senior Planning Engineer to build, revise, and oversee project schedules, coordinate with site teams, track work progress, prepare reports, and support baseline development.
Core responsibilities
- Create and revise project schedules in line with the required procedures, using Primavera P6.
- Develop look-ahead construction plans across all relevant disciplines and follow up on their execution.
- Track subcontractor and supplier progress, including site visits to confirm that actual progress matches the approved schedule.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal project teams and clients.
- Oversee project progress calculations using the appropriate software tools.
- Gather information needed for baseline updates and capture resource use for manpower, material installation, and progress curves.
- Support the preparation of project baselines and time-claim documentation.
Job requirements
- 4 to 6 years of experience in planning or project planning and control, preferably within construction.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Strong command of MS Excel.
- Ability to apply scheduling methods and progress-tracking practices.
- Experience in reporting and coordination with site stakeholders.
