Planning Engineer

About the Role

We are offering a compelling position for a seasoned Planning Engineer to contribute to the success of substantial infrastructure projects. The main duties encompass formulating detailed project schedules, tracking project progress, generating high-level reports, and promoting enhancements in program execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and regularly update integrated schedules for projects.
• Track ongoing project progress compared to baseline schedule targets.
• Develop executive dashboards and detailed progress reports to inform stakeholders.
• Predict project finish dates and recognize potential scheduling risks.
• Assist with project controls and strategic capital investment planning.
• Organize and facilitate schedule review meetings with various project stakeholders.
• Conduct delay impact analyses and design recovery plans.
• Oversee contractor performance, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a closely related field.
• No less than 10 years of experience in project planning within large-scale infrastructure or utilities projects.
• Proficient in advanced use of Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Strong abilities in reporting and data analysis.
• Experience in preparing executive-level reporting documentation.
• Familiar with best practices pertaining to project controls and scheduling methodologies.
