Production Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are met efficiently with high quality standards in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise daily production schedules to meet set goals.
• Maximize effective use of labor, machinery, and raw materials.
• Monitor product quality and enforce compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Stores, Quality Assurance, Sales, and Dispatch teams.
• Reduce downtime, scrap, and rework through ongoing process improvements.
• Schedule and ensure timely maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain accurate production documentation, reports, and records.
• Implement safety protocols, maintain housekeeping standards, and adhere to statutory regulations on the production floor.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the production workforce.
• Compile and present production performance updates to senior management.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Prior relevant experience in manufacturing or production management fields.

Technical and Soft Skills

• Competency in MS Office tools and general computer applications.
• Familiarity with ERP software is advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership abilities, strategic planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
