Project Data Analyst

Overview

ROADMAP Consulting is seeking an entry-level Project Data Analyst to support project teams by turning raw project information into practical insights. This position suits someone who enjoys working at the intersection of project coordination and data analysis, and who can contribute in a remote-first setting within the United States.

What you will do

• Gather project data, prepare it for analysis, and use it to support reporting and decision-making.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visual summaries that help track project progress and performance.
• Work with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
• Track project KPIs and identify patterns, risks, and areas where performance can improve.
• Handle ad hoc analysis requests for active projects as needed.
• Record data sources, analytical approaches, and reporting workflows for consistency and reference.
• Contribute to improving the accuracy of project data and the efficiency of reporting processes.

Requirements

• This opportunity is aimed at junior professionals with 0–3+ years of experience, including internships.
• Background in data analysis, project coordination, or a closely related area is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Excel, SQL, and/or visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong ability to analyze information, solve problems, stay organized, and manage tasks effectively.
• Capability to convert analysis into clear, practical recommendations.
• Comfort with sharing findings with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• High attention to detail and the ability to juggle several responsibilities in a remote-first environment.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Candidates must be located in the United States and authorized to work full time.
