Project Engineer - Transmission Lines

Role Overview

This role entails overseeing transmission projects from the initial design stage through to project handover, ensuring adherence to company standards, scope, and timelines. The engineer will coordinate electrical elements and supervise construction activities to meet client satisfaction and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage transmission line projects starting from basic design up to final acceptance as per defined scope and standards.
• Coordinate electrical components activities and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Review and approve material submittals, shop and as-built drawings; manage engineering transmittals forwarding to relevant SEC divisions.
• Prepare and submit technical reports and monthly progress updates for Project Manager.
• Develop detailed weekly construction activity programs, including manpower and resource planning to ensure on-time project completion.
• Liaise with construction/project managers, clients, and subcontractors to oversee and supervise allocated construction works.
• Monitor daily operations, enforce safety and quality adherence, track budgets, and manage deliverables scheduling using Primavera P6 software.
