We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer specializing in water network design to join our team at Ryan Hanley, part of Stantec. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the planning, design, and execution of essential water infrastructure projects in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive designs for water network infrastructure, encompassing pumping stations and storage facilities.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and technical assessments to support project planning.
• Prepare detailed project specifications and tender documentation.
• Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout project phases.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members in the preparation of project drawings and technical inputs.
• Offer expert technical assistance across the entire lifecycle of projects.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a minimum Level 8 third-level degree in engineering.
• Demonstrated strong postgraduate experience in water network design.
• Possess advanced professional and technical expertise in the water sector.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within teams.
• Strong attention to detail coupled with solid problem-solving capabilities.
• Skilled at managing multiple deadlines and tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in relevant industry-standard software applications.
