Project Manager, IT

Overview

This contract role requires leading and executing key digital transformation projects encompassing enterprise systems, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and robotic process automation (RPA).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full cycle deployment of enterprise systems like Client Relationship Management (CRM) and Human Resource Management (HRM) platforms, including implementation, data migration, testing, and managing change.
• Coordinate responses to cybersecurity audit outcomes and vulnerability scans, overseeing remediation with internal teams and vendors, while ensuring compliance with security standards and data protection policies.
• Drive AI initiatives by identifying use cases, conducting feasibility and financial evaluations, establishing governance frameworks prioritizing transparency and fairness, and managing pilot-to-deployment phases.
• Lead establishment and management of secure data platforms for analytics, enforce governance policies, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions.
• Identify and implement RPA opportunities across operations; prepare business cases and oversee the rollout and measurement of automation benefits.
• Manage complete project lifecycles including planning, procurement, execution, risk and budget management, vendor oversight, status reporting, and adherence to governance and procurement policies.
• Collaborate with IT Operations to ensure seamless project transitions, steer change management and user adaptation, contribute to strategic IT planning, and promote continuous learning within the IT department.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum six years' experience in IT with at least three years in project or team leadership roles.
• Preferably hold project management certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Demonstrable success in system implementations and digital transformation projects.
• Experience with cloud services, enterprise SaaS platforms, or data platforms considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, AI, or automation endeavors is a plus.
• Strong capabilities in project management, business analysis, multitasking, and structured operations handling.
• Exceptional analytical thinking, problem resolution, decision-making skills, and sound understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills alongside strong professionalism and accountability.
