Opportunity Overview

SJ Group is seeking expressions of interest from seasoned professionals for a Project Manager - Construction Supervision position tied to upcoming major infrastructure work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily execution of infrastructure assignments and keep delivery aligned with client expectations and project goals.
• Direct and coordinate teams across construction supervision, engineering, commercial, and project controls functions.
• Track timelines, budgets, resources, and performance measures to support successful completion of the work.
• Serve as a central contact for clients, contractors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Make sure all activities follow the project scope, contract obligations, quality benchmarks, and health and safety requirements.
• Spot delivery risks early and put practical mitigation measures in place.
• Check contractor progress, overall performance, and adherence to approved methods and plans.
• Compile and deliver progress reports, status updates, and key performance information to senior leaders and clients.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in infrastructure project delivery, with substantial exposure to construction supervision and project management.
• Hands-on experience delivering complex infrastructure schemes such as roads, utilities, transport, water, or similar sectors.
• Strong understanding of project management methods, construction supervision practices, contract administration, and project controls.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Prior experience in an international consultancy setting is highly preferred.
• GCC and Saudi Arabia project experience is preferred.
• Professional credentials such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are considered an advantage.
