Python Developer (Pandas Specialist)

Job Overview

We seek an experienced Python Developer with specialized skills in Pandas for data manipulation and analysis. The candidate will be responsible for handling large datasets and implementing efficient, scalable solutions to transform and analyze data for practical applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance Python scripts focused on data processing and transformation.
• Conduct advanced data manipulation utilizing Pandas, NumPy, and other scientific computing libraries.
• Cleanse, convert, and analyze extensive arrays of structured and unstructured datasets.
• Create automation scripts to streamline repetitive workflows.
• Work closely with data engineering and analysis teams to enhance and optimize data processing pipelines.
• Engage in code reviews and consistently adhere to best practices including version control via Git.

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrable expertise in Python programming, particularly with Pandas and NumPy libraries.
• Hands-on experience managing data in various file formats such as CSV, Excel, JSON, and SQL databases.
• Proficient in using Jupyter Notebook environments, integration of REST APIs, and familiarity with data visualization libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn.
• Knowledge of SQL querying and relational database management systems.
• Sound understanding of software development processes and version management using Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn.
• Exposure to cloud computing platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and big data frameworks such as Apache Spark.
