Job Location and Experience
The position is based in Hyderabad and seeks candidates with 4 to 10 years of experience in related roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs to design test scenarios, cases, and prepare corresponding test data.
- Conduct a variety of testing activities including functional, regression, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate Salesforce modules such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Test custom components including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
- Verify workflows, process builder configurations, and automated flows.
- Perform API testing and integration validations using REST and SOAP protocols.
- Identify, log, and track defects utilizing tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards.
- Execute data validation and ETL testing where applicable.
- Engage actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain adherence to established testing processes and best practices.
Technical and Soft Skills
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud testing.
- Proficient with Lightning User Interface.
- Basic knowledge of Apex coding and SOQL queries.
- Familiarity with Salesforce objects, validation rules, workflows, and flows.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, and ALM.
- Competency in API testing using Postman or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of SQL and data validation techniques.
- Preferred experience in automation testing with tools including Selenium, Provar (Salesforce focused), UFT, and optionally Cypress.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and ability to thrive in Agile team settings.
- Keen attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Expertise
- Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, or QA-related tools like Provar certificate are advantageous.
- Experience in data migration and integration testing within Salesforce environments.
- Domain knowledge in Sales, CRM, or Customer Support sectors.
- Additional knowledge in performance testing using tools like JMeter is desirable.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps practices and exposure to Einstein Analytics or AI features is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines is required.
