Scrum Master

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master for a fully remote contract role lasting between 6 to 12 months with the potential for extensions. This position involves guiding cross-functional agile software and product teams by facilitating Scrum and other Agile methodologies to enhance delivery and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Possess at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead supporting multifunctional teams.
• Strong understanding and hands-on expertise with Scrum and Agile frameworks, capable of coaching teams and stakeholders proficiently.
• Skilled in Agile tools such as Jira for managing backlogs and monitoring delivery metrics to drive improvements based on data.
• Hold recognized Agile certifications like PSM I/II, CSM, or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
• Exhibit excellent facilitation, servant leadership, conflict resolution abilities, and excellent communication skills with both technical and business teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience applying SAFe or similar Agile scaling frameworks such as Scrum@Scale or LeSS.
• Familiarity with enterprise software development lifecycle governance and integrating Jira data into program reporting structures.
• Additional advanced Agile certifications (PSM II/III, SAFe SM, SPOC) and experience coaching multiple teams simultaneously.
• Background working in regulated sectors or financial services, such as asset management, retirement planning, or advisory domains.
