Role Overview

The Senior Video Editor will play a pivotal role in Owner's expanding Media team, responsible for delivering high-quality video content for internal and external use. The position involves comprehensive video editing tasks including raw footage processing, color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and B-roll integration. The editor will create compelling narratives targeting internal teams, partners, and customers, enhancing Owner’s brand identity and communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and produce multiple long-form internal video projects monthly, handling the entire editing workflow from raw footage to finished product.
• Oversee all aspects of video editing, including color grading, audio treatment, motion graphic elements, and the incorporation of supplemental footage.
• Optimize videos for clarity, engagement, and storytelling impact.
• Create and maintain SOPs and templates to improve team efficiency and scalability.
• Review and quality check edits submitted by external vendors, providing detailed revision feedback to ensure brand alignment.
• Evaluate video performance metrics to guide content strategy and continual improvement.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Product, Recruiting, and external partners to ensure consistent, high-quality video output.
• Keep current with industry innovations and apply new techniques to enhance video production quality.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in video editing.
• An impressive portfolio demonstrating narrative and visual editing skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Experience in producing internal, corporate, or B2B video content.
• Expert skills in color correction, sound design, and audio enhancement.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, kinetic typography, and basic animation methods.
• Strong organizational abilities for managing multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to interpret creative directions and provide constructive feedback.
• Interest in AI-powered tools, automation, and emerging media workflows.
