Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site setting out, levelling, and surveying using Total Station, GPS, and associated tools to align with design specifications.
• Perform as-built surveys and maintain comprehensive survey records throughout project phases.
• Review and verify engineering drawings, specifications, and quantities, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Oversee construction activities ensuring adherence to project specs, quality standards, and engineering best practices.
• Monitor and inspect site work for compliance with design and quality control requirements.
• Maintain site documentation including records, inspection reports, and survey data.
• Generate timely engineering reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
• Assist in planning and coordinating site operations for efficient project delivery.
• Implement engineering solutions and construction methods onsite as necessary.
• Establish and maintain site control points, benchmarks, and levels to support construction activities.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders including managers, subcontractors, and design teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support preparation and management of RFIs, method statements, inspection test plans, and other engineering documents.
• Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations and contribute actively to a safe working environment.
• Keep detailed site diaries documenting progress, resources, weather, and engineering matters.
• Perform additional engineering duties to support project success as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Between 1 to 3 years of relevant site engineering experience.
• Solid knowledge of construction methodologies, setting out techniques, and quality control.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and work closely with site management teams.
• Competent in interpreting engineering and architectural drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Proficient with setting out equipment and site measurement methods.
• Thorough understanding of Irish Health & Safety legislation and the Construction Regulations 2013.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software tools.
• Holds valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
