Utility Worker

Key Responsibilities

• Manually wash dishes or operate dishwashing machines efficiently.
• Sanitize and clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks to uphold hygiene standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain cleanliness of floors.
• Collect and dispose of trash and garbage in designated locations.
• Use approved chemicals to clean equipment, ensuring proper sanitation.
• Restock essential supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials regularly.
• Walk or move extensively throughout shifts, including standing for periods exceeding 8 hours.
• Perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting objects up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Attend scheduled shifts punctually with reliable attendance.
• Complete other duties as assigned, which may vary depending on client requirements and business needs.

Qualifications

• Possess a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No previous work experience is required.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and food safety principles.

Work Environment and Hours

Compensation

The hourly wage ranges from $12.00 to $14.00.
