Role Overview

Lanstitut is hiring a Video Editor for its Calicut/Kozhikode office. This position is focused on producing polished, attention-grabbing video assets for social media channels, with an emphasis on quick-cut, platform-friendly editing styles.

What You’ll Do

• Edit both short-form and longer-form video content designed for social platforms.
• Coordinate with the content and media team to turn ideas into engaging final edits.
• Enhance videos with captions, motion graphics, and transitions to strengthen storytelling.
• Keep turnaround times short so content can be published on schedule.
• Make sure every video aligns with brand standards and the requirements of each platform.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of experience in video editing.
• Hands-on familiarity with editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or After Effects.
• Good understanding of short-form social media video formats.
• Strong attention to detail and a solid sense of visual storytelling.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving content production environment.
• Ability to speak, read, and write Malayalam.

Compensation

The monthly salary offered for this role is ₹18,000 to ₹25,000.
