Role Purpose
This position is responsible for managing warehouse operations to guarantee precise inventory control and timely distribution of clients' products throughout Asia. The role ensures strict adherence to GSDP and ISO standards, all relevant policies, and regulatory guidelines, while striving to boost operational efficiency and implement industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze clients’ monthly shipment volumes in relation to budgets to enhance resource allocation and utilization.
- Supervise and manage overtime hours to maintain operational efficiency.
- Verify accuracy by matching Physical Goods, Delivery Orders, and SAP documentation prior to processing Good Receipts.
- Perform weekly assessments of picking accuracy for Production and Pick & Pack orders.
- Establish control mechanisms in pre-packing stages to facilitate direct shipments.
- Review cycle count reports on a weekly and monthly basis to preserve inventory precision.
- Monitor and track pending orders effectively against daily and weekly client demands.
- Ensure proper segregation and control of any stock held in quarantine.
- Oversee the disposal process of damaged products in compliance with client approval and within designated deadlines.
- Ensure all Warehouse Assistants receive adequate training and strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Lead monthly operational performance review meetings.
- Conduct refresher training programs for Warehouse Assistants focused on GMP, GSDP, and ISO compliance requirements.
- Continually assess warehouse processes to identify and implement improvements.
- Direct projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing manual handling errors.
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience managing warehouse and distribution operations, preferably within Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or FMCG sectors.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of up to 50 employees.
- Proficiency in SAP systems (EWM/ECC).
- Expertise in inventory management, including overseeing annual stock takes.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities with a focus on process improvements in warehouse operations.
