Position Overview

We are currently expanding and looking for the ideal individual to join us early in this growth phase. This full-time permanent role offers the opportunity to influence the company’s direction, focusing on building rather than just maintaining systems. Work location is hybrid or fully remote within Canada, subject to the candidate’s fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Create responsive marketing websites and landing pages.
• Develop and manage Shopify online stores, including Liquid templating and theme modifications.
• Convert designs from Figma or static wireframes into accurate, accessible web pages.
• Implement basic on-page SEO, structured data, and clean semantic coding.
• Set up and sustain integrations like Klaviyo, GA4, and conversion tracking tools.
• Identify and resolve template, performance, and cross-browser/device compatibility problems.
• Maintain existing client websites with content updates and feature development.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years practical experience creating live websites with strong expertise in Shopify.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics.
• Comfortable working within Liquid and understanding Shopify theme structures.
• Detail-oriented approach and habit of thoroughly testing work prior to release.
• Capable of handling multiple client projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to leverage AI to enhance productivity without relying on it to replace core skills.

Additional Desired Skills

• Experience with headless or custom Shopify implementations.
• Understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and event tracking.
• Basic familiarity with API integrations or automation software.
