Role Overview
As an Account Development Representative (ADR), you will contribute directly to the company’s revenue objectives by discovering and qualifying new sales prospects within your designated market. Your role will involve engaging potential clients through both outbound and inbound outreach, cultivating an early-stage sales pipeline, and collaborating closely with Account Executives to facilitate deal progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and manage targeted outreach activities to identify and generate qualified new business leads.
- Conduct research to identify prospective accounts, key contacts, and buying signals to develop the sales pipeline effectively.
- Evaluate both inbound and outbound leads against specific criteria and coordinate meeting scheduling for Account Executives.
- Utilize HubSpot CRM to log prospect engagement, monitor activities, and maintain up-to-date pipeline data and reporting.
- Work in close partnership with Account Executives and Sales Engineering teams to ensure aligned messaging and smooth lead handoffs.
- Analyze market segments and outreach outcomes regularly to optimize prospecting strategies.
- Engage in industry events and targeted campaigns to support lead generation initiatives where needed.
- Provide consistent reporting on outreach activities, pipeline status, and progress toward achieving both individual and team sales goals.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in outbound sales prospecting, business development, or sales development roles preferably in B2B software, SaaS, or industrial technology sectors.
- Proven capability to build a qualified sales pipeline through systematic outbound approaches including cold calling, email campaigns, and account-based prospecting.
- Experience operating in performance-driven environments with clear targets for activity and pipeline generation.
- Competence with CRM platforms such as HubSpot for managing customer interactions and reporting.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills to engage diverse customer stakeholders professionally.
- Familiarity with outbound sales engagement tools like Apollo or Lusha, complying with local data privacy laws.
- Analytical thinking and curiosity to rapidly understand client challenges and effectively communicate value propositions during early sales discussions.
- Aspirations for long-term sales career growth, with potential advancement to Account Executive roles based on performance.
