Role Overview

We seek a seasoned Acquisitions Manager to lead and oversee acquisition initiatives, evaluate investments, and manage transaction processes throughout the company. The ideal candidate will pinpoint strategic opportunities, conduct detailed market and financial assessments, handle due diligence activities, coordinate deal executions, and assist with post-acquisition integration to maximize organizational value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute acquisition strategies, investment frameworks, pipelines of potential opportunities, and growth projects aligned with company goals.
• Identify and pursue acquisition prospects through market research, competitor analysis, networking, and strategic alliances.
• Lead full acquisition lifecycle from initial sourcing, valuation, due diligence, negotiation assistance, deal closure, to integration planning.
• Collaborate with diverse teams including Corporate Development, Finance, Legal, Strategy, Operations, Tax, Risk Management, HR, and leadership for effective execution of acquisitions.
• Perform financial modeling, build business cases, analyze valuations, assess markets, evaluate return on investment, and propose investment recommendations.
• Coordinate comprehensive due diligence covering financial, operational, legal, commercial, technological, regulatory, and organizational factors.
• Track key performance indicators such as acquisition pipeline value, deal completion timelines, investment returns, integration progress, cost synergies, revenue growth, and strategic fit.
• Monitor market trends, industry changes, competitor actions, target company metrics, and economic factors to uncover acquisition opportunities.
• Prepare acquisition presentations, materials for investment committees, transaction reports, executive briefings, and strategic recommendations for senior leaders.
• Support negotiations with acquisition targets, investment partners, advisors, brokers, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Manage post-acquisition efforts including integration planning, synergy realization, aligning operations, governance execution, and performance tracking.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, confidentiality, investment policies, and internal procedures.
• Drive digital transformation with deal management platforms, financial analytics, AI-powered market intelligence, automated due diligence processes, and data-informed investment analysis.
• Utilize tools such as financial modeling software, CRM and ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, project management, and analytics platforms to generate actionable insights.
• Lead and mentor acquisition analysts and corporate development teams, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, collaboration, responsibility, and ongoing improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Investment Management, Corporate Strategy, or related discipline.
• Advanced qualifications such as MBA or certifications like CFA, CPA, CMA, FMVA, PMP, or equivalents are highly preferred.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in acquisitions, M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, finance, or related fields.
• Preferably 2 or more years managing acquisition workflows, transaction assessments, investment projects, or strategic growth efforts.
• Strong proficiency in M&A processes, valuation techniques, financial modeling, due diligence, deal structuring, market research, negotiation, and integration planning.
• Experience with financial analysis tools, ERP and CRM software, investment databases, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with private equity deals, venture investments, strategic partnerships, post-merger integration, AI-driven investment analytics, and digital transformation is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, financial acumen, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple acquisition initiatives while balancing investment goals, financial returns, strategic fit, regulatory compliance, risks, and organizational priorities.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to operate independently in remote or hybrid work environments, flexible to attend investor meetings, negotiations, due diligence, and strategic planning as necessary.
