Role Overview
Join Tata Consultancy Services as an AEM Developer, contributing to IT services and business solution projects for global clients. Utilize your expertise in web technologies and Adobe Experience Manager to design, develop, and maintain digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Core Java, Servlets, and JSP.
- Implement and customize Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components, including out-of-the-box (OOB) components and widgets.
- Manage the author and publish environments effectively.
- Develop custom components, templates using Sightly (HTL), and widgets to meet requirements.
- Create Touch UI components to improve user experience.
- Utilize OSGi framework to create and consume bundles efficiently.
- Work with CRX/JCR repository for content storage and retrieval.
- Develop and manage custom workflows in AEM to support business processes.
- Apply basic understanding of Sling framework, including selector and extension methods.
- Use Java-based IDEs such as Eclipse and AEM Developer Tools for Eclipse for development tasks.
- Participate in enhancement and development activities guided by architects or technical leads.
- Perform unit testing to ensure quality and provide defect fixes and support during warranty periods.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Proficient in Core Java, Servlets, JSP.
- Strong understanding of Adobe Experience Manager and its components.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, and XML.
- Knowledge of developing custom AEM components, templates, and widgets.
- Familiarity with Sightly (HTL) template language.
- Experience in creating Touch UI components.
- Understanding of OSGi framework and bundle management.
- Experience working with CRX/JCR repository.
- Knowledge of custom workflow creation and Adobe AEM DAM.
- Basic knowledge of Sling framework.
- Experience using Java-based development environments (Eclipse, AEM Developer Tools).
