Application Security Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our content engineering team, focusing on DevSecOps, AI, and Cloud-Native Technologies. This position involves developing advanced security content to support upskilling among security professionals from Fortune 500 companies, defense sectors, and other IT security organizations. Strong communication skills and a methodical, team-oriented work approach are essential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist security experts and developers in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, verification, and maintaining the DevSecOps environment.
• Integrate security measures within CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
• Conduct offensive and defensive operations on AI models, inference endpoints, and MCP servers.
• Create new practical lessons and content material.
• Develop tools to facilitate faster and easier deployment of new content.
• Maintain and update existing courses, lessons, and challenges.
• Identify opportunities to scale and enhance business processes efficiently.
• Ensure outputs comply with quality standards set by the organization.
• Provide support and address queries in support forums.
• Investigate cutting-edge technologies to design lab scenarios.
• Establish lab infrastructure to focus learners on specific skill development.
• Actively engage with learners, offering assistance with their questions.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in application or product security roles.
• Strong enthusiasm for working with innovative product security technologies including DevSecOps, AI, Cloud Native platforms, and Zero Trust networking.
• Comprehensive knowledge of application security principles and relevant tools.
• Passion for advancing application security and DevSecOps practices globally.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Go.
• Capability to write detailed technical documentation and deliver presentations.
• Adaptability to fast-paced startup settings and readiness to take on additional responsibilities.
• Effectiveness in working independently within a remote team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
