Overview
This role requires expertise in implementing CyberArk solutions within IT environments, specifically focusing on privileged access management for network devices and service accounts. The candidate will be responsible for onboarding, configuring, and managing CyberArk components to ensure secure credential management and compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboard privileged credentials of network equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet into the CyberArk Vault securely.
- Set up and customize platform parameters related to connection methods like SSH and Telnet for network devices.
- Establish and maintain password rotation and account verification protocols tailored to network platforms.
- Collaborate with Network and Infrastructure teams to guarantee secure access logging and timely credential rotation.
- Engage with internal departments and clients for architectural planning and requirements gathering.
- Design and implement custom connectors or plugins for unsupported devices.
- Discover and onboard Windows and Linux service accounts both manually and through automation.
- Analyze and manage service account dependencies in applications, scheduled jobs, and services.
- Integrate CyberArk with Active Directory, LDAP, and other external systems to automate account discovery and maintenance.
- Apply password management and reconciliation policies using CyberArk's CP and CCP modules.
Qualifications and Skills
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in CyberArk implementation and privileged account onboarding.
- Deep knowledge of CyberArk architecture including PVWA, PSM, CP, CCP, CPM, and Vault components.
- Proven expertise in onboarding network devices via SSH and Telnet through CyberArk platforms.
- Experience handling service account lifecycle, including dependency mapping and password rotations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or working with REST APIs to automate tasks.
- Familiarity with privileged access control frameworks, particularly NIST and CIS security standards.
- Relevant certifications like CyberArk CDE PAM or Guardian are preferred.
