Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, validating, and interpreting data to guide business decisions, identify key trends, and deliver actionable insights across the organization. The position demands strong analytical capabilities, adeptness with visualization tools, and clear communication skills for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather data from various sources and ensure accuracy and validation
- Develop and sustain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Detect trends, patterns, and potential areas for business development
- Convert business requirements into analytic and reporting solutions
- Create effective visual presentations to convey insights clearly
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and maintain quality assurance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and analysis needs
- Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning efforts
- Document data definitions, protocols, and reporting standards
- Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company policies
- Collect distributor POS reports and summarize sales information
- Respond to inquiries from German headquarters, identifying needed data sources
- Automate and enhance report templates, processes, and infrastructure
- Update pricing within SAP, handle discounts, and generate customer price catalogs
- Manage sales territory assignments and representative updates as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or related discipline
- Minimum two years experience in Data Analysis or a similar analytical role
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with SQL for data querying and analysis
- Experience designing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Capability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines
- High ethical standards and confidentiality awareness
- Experience working with SAP and SAC considered advantageous
Salary
Annual compensation ranges between 70000 and 90000 CAD.
