Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and other items promptly to customers by car and to their doorsteps.
• Distribute flyers and door hangers as needed.
• Navigate using maps and address information to find locations within the delivery zone, including multi-story buildings and private homes.
• Operate all store equipment efficiently.
• Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, walk-in coolers, and workstations.
• Prepare products according to store standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record as per company standards.
• Have access to a properly insured vehicle for delivery use.
• Ability to read maps and navigate delivery routes including adverse terrain.
• Competency in using written instructions and verbal communication to process orders both on phone and in person.
• Basic arithmetic skills to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Motor coordination to perform tasks requiring precise and quick hand movements.
• Ability to accurately operate point-of-sale devices like computers or touchscreens.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

• Work involves standing for most of the shift and walking short distances on various surfaces such as tile and linoleum.
• Regular lifting of bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds and carrying items such as large cans and trays of dough.
• Pushing and pulling trays on dollies requiring moderate physical effort.
• Occasional climbing of stairs and ladders for tasks like maintenance or sign changes.
• Exposure to temperature fluctuations from coolers as low as 36°F to hot ovens exceeding 500°F.
• Handling food odors, cornmeal dust, and working in confined spaces like walk-in coolers.
• Exposure to varying and sometimes harsh weather conditions during deliveries.

Additional Information

• This role may require navigating five or more flights of stairs during deliveries.
• Driving demands include multiple deliveries per shift within a designated area, requiring good night vision and far vision capabilities.
