About Zof AI and Role Overview

Zof AI is currently hiring a Developer Advocate based in Accra, Ghana. This is a full-time, on-site position geared towards individuals eager to contribute to the creation of innovative AI products in a fast-paced and high-performance environment. The role is designed for candidates who can build, understand, and articulate AI technologies clearly to a developer audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop demonstration projects, sample applications, and technical examples that clearly highlight the value of Zof AI's products.
• Produce engaging technical materials, including tutorials, how-to guides, presentations, and blog posts.
• Actively participate in and support the developer community utilizing Zof AI's tools.
• Gather and communicate developer feedback to the product and engineering teams.
• Represent Zof AI in technical discussions across both online platforms and in-person events.
• Leverage AI technologies to enhance the speed and effectiveness of communication and development.
• Influence and refine how Zof AI is perceived by technical stakeholders.
• Advocate for an exceptional developer experience at every point of interaction.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficiency in coding and the ability to create functional software examples.
• Strong verbal and written communication talents.
• A committed interest in AI products and developer-focused tools.
• Capability to explain complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated initiative and a strong sense of ownership over responsibilities.
• Consistency in producing high-quality technical content.
• Adaptability to dynamic and fast-moving work environments.
• Willingness to utilize advanced AI tools deeply and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience programming in TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Prior involvement in developer relations, advocacy, or community engagement roles.
• History of creating tutorials, technical presentations, or video content.
• Established presence within a technical community or network.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a monthly salary between GHS 8,000 and 16,000 along with meaningful equity in the company. Additionally, selected employees receive a comprehensive living package, which may include housing support or accommodation, meals prepared by a private chef where applicable, necessary equipment for work, wellness provisions, laundry and cleaning services, as well as advanced AI development tools such as Cursor Ultra, Claude Code Ultra, and OpenAI Codex Max or equivalent.
