Document Controller

About the Role

This position reports to the Team Lead – Testing within the Smart Power division's Electrification business located in Nashik, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, distribute, and securely store accurate customer, ABB, and supplier project documents per divisional and project procedures promptly.
• Ensure consistent version control and tracking of document statuses daily.
• Maintain exceptional data quality and provide engineers and Project Managers with timely milestone and status reports.
• Implement a document control and communication process aligned with project scope and requirements.
• Comply with applicable cybersecurity standards, regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Effectively communicate documentation updates to customers and stakeholders, ensuring accurate progress reporting.
• Alert the Project Manager proactively about new customer requirements that may impact document management scope or processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Full-time Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 1 to 3 years of experience handling engineering and project documentation.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System documentation and document control methodologies.
• Knowledge of test reports, vendor certificates, FAT reports, operation & maintenance manuals, and traceability reports.
• Strong skills in data entry, record management, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication abilities and capability to collaborate with engineering and project teams.
