Role Details

This contract position operates fully remotely, aligned with East Coast working hours. The primary focus is to manage Advisory Board programs that enhance executive relationships, boost brand awareness, and drive business outcomes. The role demands strategic and marketing-oriented thinking, solid execution capabilities, and an emphasis on measurable engagement impact. Additionally, the Event Manager will provide support for high-priority Tier 1 events.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or co-lead comprehensive planning and execution of customer Advisory Board programs.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to establish objectives, develop agendas, and facilitate productive discussions.
Create executive experiences that encourage dialogue, insight gathering, and relationship nurturing.
Oversee event planning, production, vendor coordination, and onsite execution.
Manage schedules, run-of-show timelines, and interdepartmental collaboration.
Prepare post-event reports delivering insights to refine future strategies.
Handle budgeting tasks including forecasting, monitoring, and reconciliation.
Support key initiatives for Tier 1 events such as Summit, Exceedance, and Banking Customer Forum by leading or assisting critical workstreams.
Act as project manager in partnership with the Event Lead to ensure coordinated timelines and execution.
Maintain program financial and operational standards.

Success Indicators

Advisory Board initiatives demonstrate tangible business value through strengthened executive ties and actionable customer intelligence.
Contribution to Tier 1 events yields enhanced stakeholder engagement, improved audience experiences, and effective follow-up analyses.
Operations are conducted with financial diligence, operational precision, and data-informed improvements enhancing event effectiveness and repeatability.

Candidate Qualifications

Between 5 to 10 years or more of escalating event management experience within client-side or agency environments.
Proven competence in managing end-to-end event programs accountable for delivering results.
Strong abilities in project management, organization, and prioritizing across several concurrent initiatives.
Capacity to merge strategic thought with exemplary execution in dynamic settings.
Proficient in managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and coordinating vendors and venues on a large scale.
Willingness and ability to travel to significant client events, about 20% of the time.
Possession of a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
