Field Associate

Role Overview

This position involves conducting field research to gather and analyze data related to various social issues, primarily focusing on women’s and children’s rights. The candidate will be actively involved in planning, executing, and reporting on research projects aimed at gaining insights from different communities in both rural and urban settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and organize field research strategies aligned with defined objectives.
• Engage with community members and relevant stakeholders to collect qualitative and quantitative data.
• Support in drafting and reviewing reports based on team research activities.
• Analyze collected data and prepare comprehensive reports summarizing findings.
• Create clear presentations to communicate insights effectively.
• Test and evaluate existing processes, policies, and protocols, suggesting modifications as necessary.
• Compose formal research documents such as reports and white papers.
• Collaborate with Senior Analysts on data analysis tasks.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Hands-on experience conducting field research in either rural or urban environments.
• Comfortable initiating conversations with unfamiliar individuals.
• Adept at adapting to new locations and situations.
• Strong skills in documentation and reporting.
• Proficiency in Hindi is required; Marathi language skills are preferred.

Compensation
