Finance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to join a prestigious luxury private members' club in Dubai as part of its pre-opening team. This pivotal position involves establishing and leading the financial operations of a high-end hospitality venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all finance and accounting activities within the club.
• Develop and implement financial controls, reporting structures, and budgeting systems.
• Oversee management of accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, petty cash handling, and reconciliation of bank statements.
• Manage the procurement process including supplier registration and vendor coordination.
• Supervise the implementation and administration of POS and till systems along with inventory and stock control mechanisms.
• Ensure accuracy in end-of-day reporting and conduct thorough financial evaluations.
• Coordinate payment gateways, subscription management, and integration of financial systems.
• Collaborate closely with the HR department on payroll and related financial procedures.
• Support the pre-opening finance setup including development of standard operating procedures, audit preparation, and compliance adherence.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager in the luxury hospitality sector.
• Background working within 5-star hotels, fine dining establishments, luxury lifestyle venues, or exclusive private members' clubs.
• Deep understanding of hospitality financial systems, procurement, inventory management, and financial controls.
• Proficiency with POS solutions such as Micros or Simphony, ERP and accounting software, and hospitality operational processes.
• Previous involvement in pre-opening phases is highly advantageous.
• Preference for candidates who are immediately available or able to join with a short notice period.
