Overview

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our team at the upcoming Vivanta Bhogapuram hotel in Visakhapatnam. Serving as the strategic financial leader for this property and a crucial member of the Executive Committee, this role is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies that align with the brand's service standards and business objectives, ensuring both customer satisfaction and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive profit enhancement initiatives by evaluating costs and benefits and exploring new business prospects.
• Forecast sales relative to expenses and prepare annual budgeting plans.
• Monitor and analyze actual sales data against projections to identify variances.
• Compare actual versus forecasted wages to optimize budget planning efficiency.
• Dissect complex data to identify fundamental causes and insights.
• Innovate practical business solutions and execute new business strategies effectively.
• Formulate the property's annual operating budget in line with strategic goals.
• Support budget evaluations with analytical insights to pinpoint cost reduction and productivity improvements.
• Establish robust control systems to mitigate business risks.
• Maintain a thorough accounting and operational control framework to secure assets and enhance profitability.
• Interpret financial and market data to guide decision making.
• Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive yearly business plan aligned with corporate and brand strategies.
