Flight Simulator Instructor

Overview

Valiant Integrated Services is hiring a Flight Simulator Instructor to support simulator-based flight training for the MH-60R aircraft. This role centers on operating training simulators, delivering academic and practical instruction, and helping maintain the training curriculum.

What You'll Do

• Run simulator operations and provide flight training as a Contract Instructor Sensor Operator (CIS) for the MH-60R platform.
• Train personnel on aircraft systems, standard operating procedures, tactical use of the MH-60R, and conduct both flight briefs and debriefs.
• Support the development, updating, and upkeep of training materials such as instructor lesson guides, simulator scenarios, computer-based training, and classroom instruction content.
• Complete other related tasks assigned to the MH-60R Flight Simulator Instructor role.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Must be currently qualified, or previously qualified within the last 5 years, as an MH-60R Sensor Operator.
• At least one operational tour must have been completed.
• Candidates should bring substantial rotary-wing experience.
• A minimum of 1,000 total flight hours is required, combining military and/or civilian flying time.
• Of the total hours, 800 must be in the relevant aircraft model.
• FRS or an instructional tour is required; however, a Seahawk Weapons and Tactics Instructor (SWTI) designation is acceptable in place of an instructional shore tour and is strongly preferred.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. passport is necessary.
• Must be able to understand and follow spoken and written English instructions.
• Physical capability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of 2+ hours is needed.
• Must be able to climb two flights of stairs and open grated ladders for cockpit access.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required.
• Professional appearance and conduct are expected at all times.
• The role requires sustained mental focus and alertness during extended training activities.
