About the role
This position is for a creative front-end web developer who enjoys building smooth, user-focused digital experiences. You will help maintain and improve existing websites while working closely with people across teams to keep design and implementation aligned. The work also supports broader efforts to improve scalability, speed, and usability across the platform. The pay range is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level. Responsibilities
- Update and support existing websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with colleagues from different functions to make sure web requests match the approved design direction and best practices.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve site scalability, loading speed, and overall usability.
- Make sure web pages follow accessibility and performance expectations.
- Apply design changes and build new features based on client needs and internal priorities.
- Use version control and continuous integration tools to keep development work organized and efficient.
- Help diagnose and fix website issues in a timely manner.
- Keep up with current trends, tools, and methods in front-end development.
Requirements
- A solid academic background in computer science or a closely related discipline.
- Good command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on familiarity with CSS preprocessing tools such as SASS.
- Understanding of accessibility and web performance standards.
- Strong sense of visual design and website aesthetics.
- Exposure to version control systems, especially Git.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS.
- Knowledge of CRM tools such as HubSpot.
- Awareness of continuous integration practices.
- Ability to learn quickly and work well with others.
- Self-driven approach with solid time management skills.
