Role Overview

The Global Operations General Manager position is a full-time, remote role responsible for managing and enhancing operational processes for Gratus Private Capital and its portfolio companies. The role involves overseeing daily workflows, coordinating cross-functional projects, and maintaining consistent standards for portfolio support, reporting, and communication with stakeholders. Key duties include developing and refining operational procedures, monitoring performance metrics, and working with leadership to improve scalability, risk management, and execution quality across global investments. The manager collaborates with portfolio teams on operational planning, resource management, and process enhancements to align operations with strategic priorities. Additional responsibilities include leading or assisting with special projects such as market entry strategies, system implementations, and operational due diligence for new investments.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in operational leadership and management, including process design, leading initiatives across functions, and fostering continuous improvements in dynamic environments.
• Expertise in strategic planning and execution, with experience translating objectives into actionable operational plans, metrics, and dashboards.
• Strong financial knowledge encompassing budget management, forecasting, and performance analysis to guide operational decisions and allocation of resources.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities, able to effectively collaborate with executives, founders, investors, and teams worldwide.
• Experience in start-ups, venture capital, private equity, or rapidly growing companies, ideally with exposure to global or multi-region operations.
• Proficiency using modern productivity, collaboration, and data tools such as project management software, CRM systems, and reporting/BI applications to optimize operations.
• Capability to operate autonomously in a remote work environment, juggling multiple priorities with accountability and follow-through.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or similar fields; advanced degrees are valued.
