Job Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming telephone calls promptly within three rings, employing proper greetings and telephone etiquette.
• Record and confirm restaurant bookings and cancellations following departmental protocols.
• Keep management informed promptly about any changes in reservations or cancellations during the shift.
• Oversee assigned tasks, ensuring adherence to departmental standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and adequate quantities of menus and check folders.
• Keep the hostess station tidy and well-organized.
• Review the reservation log, pre-assign tables, and address special requests promptly.
• Welcome guests upon their arrival at the restaurant entrance.
• Assign seating to guests based on the floor plan, ensuring fairness to all waitstaff.
• Escort guests to their designated tables and confirm their satisfaction with seating arrangements.
• Provide menus to guests upon seating.
• Foster positive interactions with guests at all times.
• Stay informed about hotel services and activities to respond accurately to guest questions.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational capabilities.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in food and beverage or restaurant operations, preferably in a reputable hotel.
• Friendly and outgoing demeanor with the ability to actively engage and support operational needs.
• Proactive, resourceful, and capable of working independently.
• Additional proficiency in Arabic and Russian languages is preferred.
