Installation Engineer

Role overview

Trinity Cleantech is hiring an Installation Engineer in Bengaluru to manage EV charging station projects from planning through commissioning and post-installation support. The role combines cost control, vendor coordination, site execution, quality checks, and ongoing operations and maintenance.

Project planning and financial control

• Build and review bills of quantities in line with internal standards.
• Prepare cost sheets, project estimates, and operations and maintenance budgets.
• Track project spending and help identify savings opportunities while maintaining quality.

Vendor and contract management

• Work with approved vendors, EPC contractors, OEMs, and service partners.
• Make sure vendor work matches the agreed scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Escalate any cost, timeline, or quality gaps using the internal escalation process.

Site execution and quality governance

• Oversee on-site execution for electrical, civil, and charger installation activities.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, technical specifications, safety rules, and statutory requirements.
• Carry out site audits and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Project delivery and timeline adherence

• Plan and monitor project timelines to support on-time commissioning of charging stations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage risks and dependencies.
• Ensure all handover documents are completed after installation.

Operations and maintenance

• Handle post-commissioning operations and maintenance for EV charging stations.
• Guide technicians and site teams for preventive upkeep and breakdown repairs.
• Keep chargers operating within the required uptime and SLA targets.

Site operations and asset protection

• Maintain charging station premises in a safe, secure, and hygienic condition.
• Check the availability of power supply, DG (Hi-Gen) backup, and supporting systems.
• Protect company assets and follow asset management policies.

Reporting and documentation

• Maintain detailed records such as BOQs, cost approvals, installation reports, commissioning certificates, and O&M logs.
• Prepare and share periodic MIS updates covering project progress, operational performance, and compliance.

Additional information

Graduation is not mandatory for this role. The compensation range indicated for the position is INR 4,00,000 to INR 8,00,000 per year.
