Role Overview
The IT Faculty position is a full-time, on-site role based in Guwahati. The role entails delivering lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials covering Information Technology and related subjects with up-to-date, relevant content. Daily duties include lesson planning, creating instructional materials, evaluating students through assessments, and offering guidance and mentorship. The faculty member will also contribute to curriculum design, embed practical IT applications in coursework, and promote cybersecurity and digital literacy awareness among students. Participation in departmental meetings and academic activities aimed at enhancing student engagement and program quality is expected.
Qualifications & Skills
- Thorough expertise in Information Technology and Computer Science teaching methodologies.
- Strong analytical abilities for assessing student performance, data interpretation, and resolving technical challenges.
- Experience in designing and updating curriculum to improve course content and learning objectives.
- Practical knowledge of cybersecurity principles and their incorporation into instructional materials.
- Relevant educational credentials including bachelor's or master's degrees in IT, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- Previous teaching or training experience in academic or professional contexts with clear communication of technical concepts.
- Competence in classroom management with a focus on student-centered learning approaches.
- Collaborative attitude towards colleagues, commitment to ongoing professional growth, and adaptability to new educational technologies.
