Role Overview
The Loan Processor is responsible for guaranteeing that loan files are thoroughly accurate, complete, and fully prepared for the closing team. Acting as a central liaison, this position coordinates across loan officers, closers, title companies, and insurance providers to ensure a seamless and efficient loan processing workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate title and insurance orders with designated companies promptly.
- Verify and organize all uploaded documents following the Document Naming Guide standards.
- Perform the Entity Review Checklist to validate the correctness of entity-related documents.
- Input and maintain loan data in the Loan Origination System (LOS) or Loan Pipeline (LP) system, respecting property state requirements.
- Examine title and insurance documents for compliance and precision.
- Maintain open, proactive communication with title, insurance entities, Loan Officers, and Closers throughout the loan process.
- Collaborate closely with Closers to ensure timely and accurate file progression through each stage.

- Effective time management to balance multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Analytical skills to scrutinize title, insurance, and entity documentation rigorously.
- Proficiency with LOS, LP, and other relevant processing software tools.
- Sound understanding of compliance standards to maintain file integrity.
- Adaptability to adjust workflows in response to changing processes, guidelines, or requirements.
Performance Expectations
- Title and insurance orders must be sent, and documents reviewed, within 24 hours of file receipt.
- Complete and forward files to Closers within 2 business days for rush loans and 5 business days for standard cases.
- Maintain steady progression of all assigned files with minimal backlog or delays.
- Ensure near-perfect accuracy in entity, title, and insurance documentation to reduce corrections downstream.
- Provide timely updates to all stakeholders to avoid processing slowdowns.
