Overview of the Organization
The Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth (CSP) is a nonprofit organization focused on advancing academic and practical research in sustainable finance and impact investing. It educates ultra-high-net-worth investors, philanthropists, next-generation heirs, and their advisors on evidence-based frameworks designed to maximize both systemic and meaningful impact through their capital allocation. CSP seeks to transform private wealth into a powerful force for preserving and enhancing life globally by fostering evidence, collaboration, and measurable outcomes.
Based in Zurich with teams operating in Asia and the Americas, CSP has cultivated an extensive network of over 300 alumni and has contributed to mobilizing approximately $32 billion towards climate, environmental, social impact, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals over the past decade. CSP collaborates with prominent academic institutions including MIT Sloan, Stanford PACS, and St. Gallen University.
Role Overview
This position is centered on program management responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full cycle of designing, launching, and managing CSP's next generation of wealth-holder programs across the Americas. This includes spearheading these initiatives from conception through to annual execution and ongoing refinements.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Programs, the role involves direct ownership of multiple programs encompassing curriculum design, operations, stakeholder engagement, delivery, assessment, and continuous improvement year over year. Expansion plans over the next three years include:
- Completing design and launching the Investing Lab (first cohort November 2026), an exclusive alumni program providing a live-portfolio experience involving real due diligence and capital deployment through an Impact Fund and Investment Committee with monthly sessions throughout the year.
- Introducing an annual Family Office Program on the U.S. West Coast (targeting San Francisco) in 2027, adapting CSP's successful European family office curriculum to North America, focused on peer-led and case-driven learning.
- Launching a corresponding East Coast Family Office Program (likely New York City) in 2028, thereafter managing both editions concurrently.
These programs emphasize experiential, peer-led learning with real-world stakes and carefully selected senior faculty rather than traditional lecture formats. The role entails designing curricula, coordinating operations and partnerships, facilitating sessions, and enhancing program quality over time.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and finalize the Investing Lab’s curriculum and participant journey, translating CSP’s research into immersive and applied learning experiences.
- Design West and East Coast Family Office Programs incorporating global curricula tailored for North American cohorts focusing on adult peer learning and case studies.
- Create instructional designs emphasizing hands-on, peer-driven learning rather than lecture styles.
- Convert research insights and practical case studies into credible, actionable program content.
- Facilitate live program sessions both virtually and in person, supporting peer collaboration, case discussions, and practical exercises while assisting subject experts in facilitation.
- Manage daily program operations including timeline, budget, resource coordination, and execution once launched.
- Oversee senior faculty, speakers, and partnerships ensuring credibility and quality, including family office principals, CEOs, coaches, and academic collaborators.
- Coordinate program logistics such as registration, venue management, and vendor relations with staff support.
- Conduct evaluations for continual enhancement and support cost-effectiveness goals.
- Maintain consistent messaging, quality standards, and learning outcomes across all program cohorts and sessions.
- Build and nurture relationships with high-level stakeholders including family office leaders, partners, and sector influencers.
- Represent CSP as an expert speaker at conferences, panels, and industry events.
- Assist in participant recruitment and enrollment by cultivating pipelines of influential wealth holders and capital allocators.
- Contribute to business development initiatives to grow CSP’s program reach and partnerships.
- Offer collaboration and assistance to the broader team as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in program and project management within dynamic, fast-changing environments, showing the ability to manage and build projects concurrently.
- Minimum of five years’ relevant experience successfully initiating and executing major projects from concept through delivery.
- Strong subject matter knowledge in impact investing, sustainable finance, philanthropy, or family office/wealth management to establish credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing and recruiting senior faculty and stakeholders such as executives, principals, coaches, and academic partners.
- Excellent facilitation skills adept for both virtual and in-person group formats.
- Experience engaging ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors, or senior executives in wealth management.
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal, combined with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Highly self-driven with strong initiative, capable of working independently and cooperatively within a remote, small-team structure.
- Technologically proficient with GSuite, Asana, Claude, Zoom, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to approximately 15%, often around program delivery periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in instructional design and curriculum development tailored to peer-focused or applied adult education.
