Managing Director

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead and expand our advisory and capital relationship services in Qatar. This role involves steering the firm's operations and cultivating market presence within the region, with a focus on MENA. The successful candidate will be a senior executive with a demonstrated history of raising substantial investments exceeding USD 500 million from MENA investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and enhance the firm's operational footprint and reputation in Qatar.
• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders including government bodies, semi-government agencies, private sector leaders, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and institutional investors.
• Lead initiatives for capital raising and provide expert advisory services.
• Identify, negotiate, and implement strategic investments and partnership deals.
• Represent the firm in high-profile discussions and networking opportunities with key decision-makers and industry leaders.
• Develop a robust local ecosystem that fosters business growth.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years' experience in investment advisory, private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic consulting.
• Proven track record of raising over USD 500 million from investors based in the MENA region.
• Extensive, credible network across government, semi-government, and private sectors in Qatar.
• Strong connections with investors, family offices, institutional capital sources, and business executives.
• Substantial leadership experience in launching and scaling business operations successfully.
• Excellent skills in negotiation, communication, and stakeholder relationship management.
